Grateful Vineyard
We enjoyed a long afternoon of wine tasting and seasonal food last summer while touring the area for wedding venues. It was the perfect place for us to slow down and be in the moment as we envision our big day. The cherry pizza also helped.
Interpretive Center
The Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center went way beyond our expectations and is just a quick walk down the road from Skamania Lodge. It’s packed with historical artifacts, large installations, and three floors of exhibits. We definitely wish we had allotted more time to spend here.
Hood River Breweries
Over the holidays, we took the Bowden Family on a quest to visit the breweries of some of our favorite local beers, and Hood River did not disappoint. We warmed up by the fire at the lively Pfriem Tasting Room and had fun spotting windsurfers on the river with our favorite one-year-old at Ferment Brewing. A rainbow over the river was a special treat as we wrapped up our adventure.
